First song!

Bacchus sang his first song last night! He was following Drew, who was singing "Ya ya ya ya, ba ba ba ba". Today he's still saying the words, and sometimes with a "mam" thrown in for good measure. He also does this with his tongue turned sideways in his mouth (I can't do it), which looks pretty funny. The cuteness pretty much balances out the fact that he woke up at 4:45 this morning!!

We have his 9 month check up today. This will be the first one without shots, which is good, because Drew is crushing grapes, and probably won't make it to the appointment. (He usually handles the shot part while I go make the next appointment!)

Within the last few days, he has learned how to sit up from being on his belly on the floor. He's still SO CLOSE to crawling, but mostly gets around by rolling or scooting. He likes to watch the morning news with me (I think he thinks the heat graphic on the weather report is 'pretty').

Well, it's time to get to work!
