Good morning, all! We spent the past weekend in the KC area, with the GPs watching Baby B while I rehearsed for a wedding I'm singing for in two weeks. It was a great all-around weekend, getting to see friends and family. We'll get to head back up for the nuptials on the 4th and 5th, so the GPs will get plenty of Bacchus-time (and I will spend part of the reception pumping in the bathroom!).
Bacchus is still growing strong. He isn't growing as fast as he did initially (thank goodness), but he's pretty much at the maximum capacity of some of his clothes. I tend to measure his growth using his jammies (how he fits into them), and he's almost outgrown them.
Last night we took him into the hot tub, which was not very hot, and he had a good time splashing around. Boy, is he buoyant. Those chubby thighs kept floating up. It was toward bed time, so he wasn't as smiley as usual, but he didn't cry, which was a plus.

Let me know sometime when you have time to kill and feel like coming to Columbia. We can take the kids swimming at the ARC. I've got an extra pool float as well (although it sounds like he's got floaty thighs just like Lainey.) She just had her one year appt. and she's 27 1/2 pounds and 32 inches long! We could have baby sumo wrestling!
