The first rule about baby fight club is....

Oh, you know. I'm not even going to say it. I will say that for the last few nights, I think Bacchus has been secretly hosting baby fight club/crib matches in his room, usually between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. I can't think of another explanation of the wall-jarring noises emanating from his room. (It doesn't help that his crib is on the other side of the wall from our bed.) Seriously, he has been raising up his legs, and then slamming them down on the mattress repeatedly, sometimes on and off for two hours. This is usually accompanied by fussing/talking (or crowd noise?). If you can get past the fact that it keeps you up during the night, it's pretty funny. Most of the time, he puts himself back to sleep. I'm guessing he maybe has gas? Maybe we'll give him gas drops before bed tonight, to see if there's any change.

He self-eliminated his 6:30 p.m. feeding in the last few days, so now he eats at 6:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:45 p.m. We haven't introduced solids yet, holding out for the 6 month mark. Which, by the by, will be on Cinco de Mayo. Ole!!

Congratulations to my brother Josh, who will be graduating from Baker University in May, and starting his first teaching job in August. How cool is that?

That's all for now, folks.
